Neon Stereo is Australia's ambassador for the new wave of electro sounds that have been sweeping the globe. Period.
Taking in his influences from the likes of Dada-Life, Wolfgang Gartner, Skrillex, the relentless attitude and work ethic self proclaimed "Synthesizer pervert and all round nerd" has resulted in a stream of original electro-house records and the odd dubstep production which along with an already impressive resume having remixed for the likes of Deadmau5, Steve Angello, Sidney Samson, Luciana and O'uest Le Swimming Pool to name a few, have found their way into the record bags of a "who's who" of dance music such as Tiesto, The Bloody Beetroots, Pete Tong and BT.
2011 became a defining year for Neon taking steps into the world stage with a sound that's his own and commanding the attention of his peers including collaborations with leading electro contemporaries such as Cold Blank along with being placed in front audiences including his first USA tour, including playing at the prestigious Avalon Club in Los Angeles.
Excellent support has also come from fans both in Australia and around the globe as part of an ever constant stream of charting spots and radio plays. With spins on radio stations including, BBC Radio1, Nova, Triple J and the Austereo Network (2Day FM), constant charting records on beatport.com and impressive appearances on HYPEM.COM rising to #2 with his refix of Royksopp's classic "What Else Is There" along with a #4 spot with his remix of "Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know" and #12 for the wildly popular remix of "Justice - Civilization".
Neon has also made his presence known in Australia on numerous Ministry of Sound compilations and a number of remixes for the two biggest dance music released in Australia, sitting at #1 on the Aria Club Chart records for: "Tommy Trash & Tom Piper - All My Friends" and "Tonite Only - We Run The Nite".
With a new EP in the works the best of Neon Stereo is yet to come.
