Tommy Trash & Tom Piper snare Best Indie Dance Single!

The ARIA Club Chart #1 hit, ‘All My Friends (feat. Mt. Wilson)’ by Tommy Trash & Tom Piper, has received recognition at this year’s Jägermeister Independent Music Awards. In an extremely close race, the single took out the Best Independent Dance/Electronica Album award last night, in equal first place with Seekae ‘Blood Bank’.

It’s been a big year for both Tommy & Tom (the men behind the oh-so-memorable Top 40 hit ‘The Bum Song’) with Tom Piper not only scoring the hosting gig on the weekly Ministry of Sound Radio Show (broadcast around the nation on the Southern Cross Radio Network), but also voted the #1 DJ in NSW at this year’s inthemix50 Awards.

Tommy Trash has been in great demand, basing himself on the London/Ibiza circuit for much of 2011, releasing his club hit EP The End, and his latest release ‘Future Folk’ is currently one of club-land’s biggest records, about to smash the ARIA Club Chart in the coming weeks.

Both Tommy Trash & Tom Piper have also been commissioned to mix the upcoming Ministry of Sound The 2012 Annual, out October 28.
