Bombs Away sign with Soapbox Artists
10-30-2011It is with great excitement that we announce the latest signing to the Soapbox Artist family – BOMBS AWAY.
The electronic jewels of Swan River, Perth’s dynamic party duo BOMBS AWAY have been carpet bombing their way through the music industry for the past few years, napalming dance-floors of countless clubs, festivals and block parties around the country with their straight up sweat rocking swagger and explosive electro.
A seemingly geographically bipolar noise ensemble (with the duo constantly moving between Perth and their found home on the Gold Coast), BOMBS AWAY recently claimed the title of the Favourite Western Australian DJ Award (#17 Nationally) at the 2011 InTheMix Awards, as well as being voted the #1 Australian artist (#32 Worldwide) by THEDJLIST.com. No strangers to the studio, their tracks ‘Supersoaker’ and ‘Swagger’ have seen support from international illuminati Porter Robinson, Calvertron, Krafty Kuts, Dj Dan, and Oh Snap. Locally, there’s no escaping, with MTV and Channel [V] championing the duo’s videos, while Nova and Austereo treating their singles to enviable spins across their national broadcast networks.
