coinciding with the arrival of 1988’s Summer Of Love.
In the early 90’s he released 2 techno ep’s called Terminator Trax, which were flogged by the likes of
Carl Cox and Jeff Mills.

ARIA nominations including best male artist along the way.
Other awards include Best Producer at the inaugural Australian Dance Music Awards even a GQ
“Man Of The Year” nod has snuck in there and has several times been nominated for Best National
DJ.
Other aliases include Chili Hifly (Ministry Of Sound/Kontour/Central Station) with the first single “is it
love?” scoring a U.S Billboard #1 in 2001! And Loverush (Azuli, Credence.)
And enjoys an ongoing mix cd and touring relationship with Ministry Of Sound and describes his
current DJ sound as ” electronicacidfunksweatrocknoise”. In 2006 Simon collaborated with Sam
Littlemore (Gwen Stefani, Black Eyed Peas, Robbie Williams)on a side project called” Tonite Only”
which fused a contemporary dance floor aesthetic with a post‐modern pop sensibility called “Tonite
Only” who managed the amazing feat in 2006 of scoring 2 Australian Club chart number 1’s both of
which remained there for over 3 months and several other noteworthy releases and remixes for the
likes of Sneaky Sound System,Tv Rock and The Similou including their own genre defining chart
smashing singles “the bomb” & “where the partys at” (Ministry Of Sound) now shoot to 2008 where
Tonite Only currently has the number one spot on the Australian Aria club chart with their smashing
remix of Hook N Slings’s “The Best Thing” and he also has the first new Chili Hi fly track in several
years licensed to MOS called “I go Crazy” which is featured on the clubbers Guide to Spring

Simon, with his LA partner in crime Chris Carter perform under the name of the JUMPJUMP DANCE
DANCE – they recently signed to ETCETC (PNAU, mylo, The Knife, annie, digitalism) and have a debut
album to be released in the very near future which was mixed by Dave Sardy (Wolfmother, Jet, LCD
Sound System, Primal Scream, Rolling Stones etcetc and Mark Needham from The Killers) and
mastered by Steve Fallone (TV On The Radio) at Sterling Sound following a slew of hot remixes for
artists like Datarock, The Cribs, The Kaiser Chiefs, Lost Valentinos and La Roux. They like to describe
the sound as “Somewhere between The Clash/Duran Duran and The Killers all meeting on the
Dancefloor”.
Following on from the soon to be unavoidable sounds of JUMP JUMP DANCE DANCE, Simon has
somehow managed to find time to embark on yet ANOTHER project, this one with Aussie based
American MC ‐ Snob Scrilla. They met while doing a session for a now never to be released vocal of a
deadmau5 track and just hit it off. Together under the name of CUTLASS SUPREME be prepared for a
flurry of b‐more, fidget, old school rave and techno with a bit of whatever else they feel like
throwing in the mix! The indie‐hiphop originated beats and rhymes are about to be unleashed VIA
